ESTABLISHED 2008 

The Company was Established in 2008 in the toughest recession the country has ever seen, Barry of Barry’s Fit Food Butchers, Son of 3 generations of Butchers and Fish Merchants, served his time as an apprentice butcher in the early 00’s. He is possibly one of the few qualified, certified Craft Butchers of Ireland of his generation.

Always wanting to build his own business like his father, grandfather & great-grandfather – Barry did just that in 2008. 

While there are many counter-hand butchers available, Barry wanted to bring his old school craft butchers skills into the present modern day with a twist, developing high protein cuts fakeaways and meals over the years. 

This is where Barry’s Fit Food Butchers is unique. Not only is Barry a certified, qualified Craft Butcher of Ireland, but also certified National Strength & Conditioning Coach & Elite Powerlifter with many national & international All-Time records to his name – Brings the phrase ‘PASSION FOR FOOD & FITNESS’ to life! 

Barry has worked and is working with many top athletes ongoing, for weight cuts, boosting athletes fuel or ordinary day-to-day clients trying to stay fit & healthy, on top of their nutrition. Check out Athlete’s Spotlight.

Our Online store now offers ‘Click & Collect’, ‘Local Deliveries’ (Mon, Wed & Fri), and Nationwide Deliveries. We also have Drop-Off Points in the North East & North Dublin area fulltime.
